Unconscious Gender Bias Course Launch

❤️ For the last few years, we’ve been working examining the evidence underpinning Unconscious Gender Bias and its impact on Women in Ophthalmology and Medicine and equally, the evidence behind the best ways to engender positive change.

💪 So it’s very exciting to announce the launch of our course on Unconscious Gender Bias at The American Society for Cataract and Refractive Surgeons @ascrsofficial.

⭐ It is the first major ophthalmology society and meeting that has taken this by the horns and put this course on their agenda that we have been trying for so many years.

🕊️ I am incredibly honoured to be speaking with some phenomenal faculty including Drs Neda Nikpoor, Arthur Cummings, Julie Schallhorn and Brett Mueller. Between us, we cover perspectives from early and later career surgeons, academia and private practice, industry liaisons and scientists, teachers and mentors and much more.

👯‍♀️ If you are attending ASCRS and this topic resonates with you, it would really mean so much if you and a colleague friend could take a little time out of your schedule to support the course and learn alongside us, as we share the responsibility in creating long-lasting, fair and sustainable change.

So, Happy International Woman Day, and with all my love ❤️…
